Truck Charging Stations Coming to NJ Turnpike

As electric trucks become more widespread, their drivers will find more charging stations on the New Jersey Turnpike thanks in part to a $250 million grant from the Environmental Protection Agency.

NJ SEED: If government is going to mandate electric vehicles, it then has the obligation to make charging stations readily available. Installation of charging stations along the NJ Turnpike will be welcome by truckers. Considering the distance that can be traveled between charges, constructing motel units at Turnpike rest areas might also be a good idea.
