Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill announced earlier this week that she will nominate Aaron Binder, who currently serves as deputy treasurer in the state Department of the Treasury, to take on full leadership of the department as treasurer once Sherrill takes office on Jan. 20.

NJ SEED: Binder currently serves as Deputy State Treasurer. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Assembly Majority. At Treasury he runs the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Revenue and Economic Analysis. He is highly qualified for the position of Treasurer.
