NJ Transit Named by Forbes as One of New Jersey’s Best Employers for Fifth Straight Year

For the fifth straight year, Forbes has named NJ TRANSIT to its renowned America’s Best-in-State Employers 2025 list. For the third straight year, NJ TRANSIT again ranked #1 in the Transportation and Logistics category and 54th out of 90 employers in New Jersey. The survey, according to Forbes, measures leading companies from around the world to identify those best-liked by employees. This recognition builds upon NJ TRANSIT’s standard of excellence after being recognized nationally as one of Forbes’ America’s Best Employers 2024, as well as the winner of the coveted 2023 American Public Transportation Association (APTA) award for Outstanding Public Transportation System from among the largest transportation systems in North America.
