NJ Film Expo Makes Sales Pitch to Film and Television

Becoming “Hollywood East” may have once seemed a flight of fancy for New Jersey, but it’s slowly becoming more of a reality. According to the state, 42 projects have committed to film in New Jersey during the first two quarters of this year, putting the state on track to beat its total production of 2023 and 2024 combined.

NJ SEED: The Murphy Administration has done much to attract the motion picture industry back to its NJ roots. Tax incentives are attracting a number of projects. Netfix’s plan to build a major production facility at the former site of Fort Monmouth continues to move forward. It will provide many long-term jobs.
