Major US Offshore Wind Project Scrapped

Private US renewable energy developer Invenergy has formally withdrawn its long-struggling Leading Light Wind (LLW) array to New Jersey. 


In a filing to the state Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU), attorneys for the developer said, “the Company has determined it cannot move forward with the Project under the terms and conditions set out in the Board’s January Order.
