Governor Murphy Leads Multi-State Petition to Request Nationwide Monitoring of Microplastics in Drinking Water

Governor Phil Murphy today (11/26) led a coalition of seven states to sign a petition to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requesting nationwide monitoring of drinking water supplies for microplastics, with the goal of better understanding the occurrence of contamination in drinking water supplies.
