The Trump administration said it would pause new warehouse purchases for ICE detention as the department goes through a leadership change under newly confirmed Secretary Markwayne Mullin.

NJ SEED: It is wise that the Department of Homeland Security has paused and is rethinking the proposal to establish a ICE detention facility in the most densely populated state in the nation. It is interesting, however, to see the state adopting a NIMBY posture when for many years it denounced it.
