Construction, Trade Opportunities for NJ Students

Thousands of students from across New Jersey arrived by school buses and filled the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison on Wednesday (5/28) to explore career opportunities in the construction industry.
“It is an industry of opportunity and they are looking to recruit, retain and elevate people within the trades,” said Jill Schiff, chief operating officer of (NJ SEED Member) the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey, one of several sponsors of the two-day event.

NJ SEED: Exposing more than 2,500 young people exposed to well-paying careers that do not require a college degree is a commendable program. The construction trades have a long history of supporting educational programs to attract workers. Congratulations to those construction trade organizations who sponsored the event.
