Delayed by COVID-19, Paulsboro residents being tested for ‘forever chemicals’

After months of COVID-19-related delays, Paulsboro residents are now being invited to have their blood and urine tested, and to answer questions about their medical histories, part of a national investigation into exposure to chemicals in drinking water.
The South Jersey town is one of just eight sites around the country chosen for tests that federal scientists hope will shed more light on how human health is affected by PFAS, or so-called forever chemicals.
