The New Jersey Wind port sits on a 220-acre site divided into several parcels. Two areas — Parcels A and B1 — will be used for marshaling, or assembling, wind turbines. Three other areas will be used for component manufacturing.
NJ SEED: The Wind Port is an essential part of the development of off shore energy generation. It is projected to create several hundred construction jobs and ultimately produce 1,500 permanent jobs.
