The Assembly Science, Innovation, and Technology Committee, chaired by Christopher Tully (D-Bergenfield), today held a hearing on offshore find farms and marine mammal deaths that have occurred along the Atlantic Coast with testimony from the scientific community.

NJ SEED: Questions abound but as yet no definitive answers as the unusual number of whale and dolphin deaths along the NJ shore persist. With the enthusiastic support of both state and federal government, construction of off shore wind farms continues. The May 18 Assembly hearing seems to have produced more fog than light - more opinion than science.
