Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday offered his unwavering support for the people of Ukraine — and announced that the state has created a website, www.nj.gov/Ukraine, which will include information on where and how New Jerseyans can help the people of Ukraine in the wake of Russia’s invasion. “First lady (Tammy Murphy) and many others will be populating this website with information in particular about where folks could go or what organizations they can work with, as it relates to shipping things, either to folks in Ukraine or refugees who are leaving Ukraine,” he said. Murphy noted that New Jersey has the fourth-highest number of Ukrainians among states in the U.S., trailing only California, New York and Pennsylvania. In addition, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA is located in South Bound Brook. “We stand with the people of Ukraine, unwaveringly, and we will stand with them to the end that I hope the end is a peaceful one and to come soon,” Murphy said.
