Bid to Boost Visitors Looks to Rewrite NJ’s Tourism Map

The Legislature took up one of the state’s most debated questions: Does Central Jersey exist? It does. And some lawmakers want to give a boost to tourism there along with historical sites and agribusiness.
NJ SEED: There are great stories to be told and wonderful places to visit in all of New Jersey. Tourism is one of the state’s most important industries. With over 115 million tourists expected to visit this year, it is high time the state did a better job of promoting more than the Jersey Shore and gambling in Atlantic City.
